"Nude painting" is a term that may usually be taken as a painting of somebody who is naked. That is not what Paul Butler does. He paints on the naked body.

"This is the farthest thing from being about sex," Butler, a local artist, said. "This is about getting sex out of our mind and looking at ourselves as shapes.
